Irish twins are growing!

February 18th 2014

Hello kids,

Okay, you guys have been keeping daddy and mommy pretty busy. Let’s start by some quick updates. Noah, you are growing up so fast. You look like daddy more and more every day. You got your second hair cut recently and you are really starting to talk a lot. You can now officially open the fridge and grab whatever you want from it (Although we don’t really let you… because you know… the house would get messy (fine, messier). Emma, you too are growing SO fast. You are almost 18 months and you are one tough cookie. You survive Noah every day, congratulations. You also started to say some words and you are very good at telling us what you want. You are also very independent and you like to play on your own. We are so proud of both of you… You also seem to be teething constantly. We cannot wait for you to be done, it makes you grumpy.

About brotherly/sisterly love. Around Christmas time you two actually started to bond. We aren't sure when it happened or how, but it seems like overnight you two decided that you would be okay to play together. Noah started giving Emma toys, Emma started to give them back… Emma would chase Noah, Noah would hide from Emma. Then you guys started playing ball with daddy. Noah’s favorite game has to be to point videos for daddy to put on for him to watch… Hmmm that or playing with cars and trucks. Emma loves to hide and seek. We just find it so beautiful that you two are finally starting to play together.

You two don’t always get along. Most of the time Noah will try and steal anything that entertains Emma which causes Emma to cry and be unhappy. Emma recently learned to hit back. So usually Noah will hit Emma and she will hit him back. It’s almost like a new game and they end up laughing, or crying, either way, it works for you guys.

Sleeping wise you guys aren't too too good. Noah wakes up very early and Emma is now wanting to sleep in bed with us. We aren't too happy about that. We miss the times where we’d put sweet Emma down and that she’d fall asleep. I guess those times are gone, will they ever come back?

Both of you kids are still nursed, say thank you mommy. You guys still love the boobs and I don’t see you guys weaning anytime soon… Yup. You guys also eat almost anything. You both eat about everything and Noah LOVES ham. Emma is more a fan of ground beef and pasta. Dessert wise, you both like chocolate and gummies.

That is all for now, keep on being the cute little creatures that you are.

We love you guys VERY much! Keep driving us crazy!
